I was thinking to host the main app file + views.js on a webserver in order to provide quicker releases without going through app stores publishing cycles.

  1. Do you guys think it's a good idea? I know there is a cloud deploy service provided by ionic but this approach seems simpler to me as you do not need to implement the checking for updates and downloading logic as it is a standard browser behavior.
  2. For some reason my andoroid app never retrieves updated versions of this js file. Once downloaded its always served from cache until you do "clear app data" in Android settings. Any idea how to fix this?

Thanks in advance
