Page navigation animation

Hi all,

I’m new to Ionic Framework (v6) and plan to use it without any additional framework - I’m using plain vanilla javascript.
Much of my visions I was able to implement but I don’t know to do a animation when I switch from one page to another (and back) …

Maybe someone can guide me in the right direction or provide some links how this is described ?
