Hello,
I've tried the Ionic.Auth to do a quick facebook login.
I set it up correctly and tried it out.
- First thing: it does not work in ionic lab, nor in the ionic viewer app, i need to build an APK for the phone each time.
- Second thing: on the phone, it launches an in-app browser, where I'm not logged in to facebook, instead of using the phone's Facebook native app, or at least the phone's default browser where i could already be logged in to Facebook...
So here's what happen :
- I get asked to login to facebook, typing my e-mail and my password
- Then I got ask to enter a code from facebook native app code generator
- Then once again i get asked to enter my facebook password a second time...
- And FINALLY, I can tell my facebook app I agree to give away my public profile and login to the app...
Why on earth is this using an in-app browser? Am I missing something here, am I doing something wrong?
Yes, it's great, simple and fast to integrate, but...
With this outcome we lose 90% of the benefit and purpose to do a Facebook login...
