Side menu content with expose-aside-when does not resize with browser

Note the Browse content width difference between the images.

I am new to Ionic. This looks like an issue to me. Is this an issue or am I expected to handle this resizing myself? If this is an issue, any suggestions for workarounds would be greatly appreciated!
